A little bit excited about these guys "Baikal Nomads" initiative for a global Eco music camp on the shores of spectacular Lake Baikal in Siberia - this is the largest(& deepest) body of fresh water in the world and is a Unesco listed heritage site. An unspoilt pristine magical place to make music, be kind to the planet and each other. Baikal Nomads have compiled a prodigous collection of ethno/afrotribal/oriental/middle eastern fusion with a hypnotic digital groove. You can check out some of their compilations on Youtube after this invitation to join them at the inaugural Baikal Music Camp. Would be awesome to have a contingent of Oz percussionists make the pilgrimage there!
